Shaken...Not...Stirred
Here is the video clip of Todd Bentley being appointed, (or was it annointed).not sure, but anyway here is his "ordination" or "appointment" to be an Apostle. No kidding. You will want to call your friendly neighborhood chiropractor after seeing this one. It's a little different than the last ordination service I went to.

What!
can't handle childish foolishness?
I am trying real hard to understand what I just saw!
Hey Michael,
In my opinion we saw witchcraft, divination, and channelling...This looks like pagan channelling to me..
We saw those who dabble in the doctrine of demons...
On a lighter note: We also saw a woman be able to speak clearly while shaking uncontrollably. That was pretty weird.
2nd Cor. 2:17 For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.

Frankly, I'm disappointed. I was hoping to see a complete 360 swivel maneuver. It's a good thing she didn't projectile hurl, because Bentley would have gotten the brunt of it. Something would have fallen on him, if not the spirit.
;)
Gage,
yep!
weird, weird and yes I did notice that her voice was crystal clear.
I don't think mine would be moving that rapidly back and forth! I guess one would note the demonic abilities being on display.
Don't they go after childish foolish sinners first? :)
I mean, man, I was a child and acted like one too. I can give you my wife's cell number and you can ask her if I have grown up yet? Ah, on second thought, maybe you should just rely on my affirmation of my maturity! :)
Michael
Rob,
I was thinking that very thing...I was waiting with baited breath...for the pea green soup ya know? It would have made for a good annointing oil for Todd Bentley imop.

If it was a demon moving her head, he probably wouldn't have given her a chance to stop and read directly from the Bible when she couldn't remember what came next in the passage she was quoting, or to catch her breath and regain her bearings before starting up again. Freak show antics like that are what get the crowd emotionally worked up to where they begin to expect "supernatural" activity, and then some may psychosomatically exhibit similar "ecstatic" or "uncontrollable" behavior. It's group hypnosis more than anything else. It's what many pagan groups do that report unusual phenomena like this. Read "Counterfeit Revival" even if Hank's Arminian (or semi-Pelagian), and you'll learn a lot about the nature of such behavior.
Cap'n,
How do you really feel?
Watching this again, makes me ill...and now my neck is sore..why is that?

You always were an empathetic guy, Gage!
Cap'n,
That's it...I'm too caring.

Speaking of Hank, I just got an email from his ministry advertizing a new booklet which can be obtained for a gift of any amount on this very topic. It's called "Aping the Practices of Pagan Spirituality."
Great...why don't you do that and send me a copy.
Call it a love offering.
